干事业是要玩命的 Your work is a matter of life and death

 

我们的工作和事业占了生活三分之一的时间。时间就是生命。时间那么多给了事业，事业怎么可以不认真的干？工作不是用来挣钱给我们在休闲时间享乐。休闲不是为了抚平工作上的怨恨。工作应该是享乐。休闲应该是休息。人生要过得好，就得懂得玩命式的享乐工作。

We spend a third of our time at work. Spending time is spending life. If we are spending this much life on work, of course we must take it seriously. Work is not for the sake for making money to be spent on enjoyment in our leisure time. Leisure is not for the sake of venting or escaping frustrations from work. Work is to be enjoyed. Leisure is rest time. To succeed in life, enjoy your work like it's a matter of life and death. Because it is. 

Don't listen to successful people

 We want to learn from successful people, but sometimes what they tell us is not complete. For every one successful person who says their success is because of one key factor like hard work, persistance, marketing, adaptability, mindset etc, there are nine others who have applied the same and still failed. Beware of survivor bias. 

Listen to successful people, but extract the right lessons.

脾气不好的人，就不是好人 If you have a bad temper, then you are not a good person

 

“他其实是个好人，只是有时凶一点，有脾气”。不必为他找借口。不学习修行好自己的脾气的人，要身边的人受气的人，就不是好人。每一个人都要为自己的行为负责。

“He's actually a nice guy, just that sometimes he has a temper. " Stop finding excuses for such persons. If he doesn't learn to manage his own temper and takes it out on others around him, that is not a good person. We have to be accountable for our own behaviour.
